Suboxone, Reckitt Benckiser as the manufacturer, its primary use is to treat opioid addiction (in higher doses) and to control moderate chronic pain (in smaller doses). Also, Suboxone contains buprenorphine as well as the opioid antagonist naloxone, which deters intravenous injection. The estimate ratio of buprenorphine to naloxone in Suboxone is 4:1. Subutex, however, contains only buprenorphine unlike its counterpart Suboxone.
