Mosaic tiles could be as little as a few millimetres in length, while larger tiles could be as large as meters. The use of big tiles in bathrooms with small spaces is not a good idea as they're likely to be removed frequently. It results in waste and can alter the style or pattern you're looking for, but there's no set of rules, so you're free to be creative if you prefer.
