Anxiety disorder is now recognized as one of the most common disorders among adults affecting almost 33.7 per cent of the world’s population. Anxiety is the inability to relax in certain situations where breathlessness and a heightened sense are a few of the many symptoms of anxiety, muscle tension, headaches, and chest pain acting as physical symptoms of anxiety. However, the under-recognition and under-treatment of anxiety disorders can be a hindrance while performing daily chores. The medications for the various anxiety disorders are now extensive and specifically based on the kind of symptoms which helps in the treatment.
