South African Rand falls as traders wait for Cabinet line-up. By Reuters. JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - South Africa's rand fell on Monday as business sectors trusted that President Cyril Ramaphosa will report his public solidarity government's bureau arrangement. At 1524 GMT, the rand was exchanging at 18.16 against the dollar, over 1% more vulnerable than its past close. "The apparent grating between the GNU (Legislature of Public Solidarity) accomplices is assuming a part in the ongoing slump, albeit the Rand needed a specialized remedy in any case," said Danny Greeff, co-head of Africa at ETM Examination.
