If you've taken an MAO inhibitor in the last 14 days, don't take Norco. A potentially harmful medication interaction could happen. Among the MAO inhibitors are tranylcypromine, isocarboxazid, linezolid, phenelzine, rasagiline, and selegiline. A serious illness known as serotonin syndrome can result from some medications interacting with hydrocodone. If you also take medication for depression, mental illness, paralysis agitans, migraine headaches, severe infections, or nausea and vomiting prevention, make sure your doctor is aware of this. Before altering your prescription regimen or after you've started taking it, consult your doctor.
