Chhath Pooja is an ancient Hindu festival dedicated to Sri Surya that is the sun god and also Sri Surya’s sister, Chatimaiya. The festival is unique in the states of India i.e. Bihar, Jharkhand, eastern Uttar Pradesh, and the country of Nepal. It is the only festival dedicated to Sri Surya, who is the source of all power.
