Several buttons in the MF Toolbox can be used to scan a document or a photograph. If you need to learn how to scan a document from Canon Printer to a computer, place the document or photograph on the scanner glass, double-click the "Canon MF Toolbox 4.9" icon on the Windows desktop. Select one of the scanning choices between Mail and OCR while the MF Toolbox is open. By choosing "Save," you can scan and save the document to your computer. Using the "PDF" option, you can save the scanned document as a PDF file. When the scan setup window displays, you can specify the scanning parameters for the document. To begin scanning, click "Scan" when you've made the appropriate changes.
