Through many ways you can scan a document from the Canon printer. One of the easy ways to learn how to scan a document from Canon printer to a computer is to go to the top of the page, select "Go," and select "Applications." Open the folder "Canon Utilities." Open the folder "IJ Scan Utility." Click on the "IJ Scan Utility" folder and then "Settings." Then, select "Document Scan" from the drop-down menu and select "PDF" as the doc and select the "Data Format" menu. Click "OK" to save the scanned document to your desired location on your computer. Place any additional documents on the scanner glass before scanning the document. When you're finished scanning, click "Exit."
